I brought out a bag of raw carrots just a few weeks ago and shcoked all my students.  I let them try . . . it was funny watching them be frightened to nibble on their first raw carrot stick.

They do put ice in some drinks, but not near as much as we do in the USA.  It is believed to be not good for you to have hot and cold unbalanced here.  So, "little ice" is a common tag to a drink order.</description>
