		<description>Odd they wouldn't mention the conflict in Oaxaca.  We are certainly in interesting times here in Tijuana, but I would say the conflict down south is just as serious if not more so.  Not as glamorous as the drug cartels I guess.  

BTW, murders in Tijuana were actually at a three year low in 2006.  However there were 30 police murdered --counting active and retired from all three levels of government -- which is probably why we are getting all the international press.
