Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan (video)

by Jim on 18 July 2009

Today we went to Christopher Lake to the beach.

Now some people may be surprised to know that, since moving to Mexico in 2006, we have never once been to the beach.  The kids have been to a beach in Canada many years ago, but they were too young to remember.  So last night I was trying to explain to them what a beach is.

I have here about 5 minutes of clips from the beach.  This may be a "grandparents only" kind of a video, but feel free to take a look if you like.  I’m just trying out my video-making skill.  Good chance to practise.

Enjoyed the video. And the kids looked like they had a good time. I’m glad you took advantage of that warm sunny day to go!

Yes, we haven’t seen so many days like that since! Although we did have a nice afternoon yesterday, and so were able to spend a little while at a lake. :)

We’ve been hearing about a lot of rain and t-storms in the area of Ontario where you’ve been. I’m really glad you did have one nice afternoon anyway when you could go to a lake.

Hi Jim & Family I am afraid that the beaches in Hamilton are not as clean to walk in especially for the children. But one thing we have had a lot of is Rain so looking forward to seeing you on the weekend of the 23rd of August Safe trip to all of you
God Bless
Aunt Lorraine
