Shari is sitting here on this freezing cold, cloudy, Mexican morning, sipping hot Darjeeling tea, trying desperately to warm up even just a little, and organize my life for the month of February...which happens to be starting today. Where did the month of January go, anyway??

Wow! I think that was a pretty exciting encounter. I use the word “exciting” knowing that it turned out well, but I think if it had been me in that situation I’d have been quite scared.
I wonder how come Nathanael is so “good” when there’s a cop around. Do you think he really knows how much authority and power they have?
Anyway, sounds like you handled the situation well. And, thankfully you didn’t have to pay a fine or anything.
Well, we’ve been pretty clear with Hannah and Nathanael that they need to be quiet when we’re talking to officials of any kind.
Hey Jim…
I agree, it sounds like you handled this really well… but overall, that’s just plain creepy. Hopefully your ability to “call them on it” will keep them from getting more bold in their opportunism.
I wonder what the spanish is for “shenanigans”…? : )
