Yesterday we had the chance to "meet" our niece Karina via webcam! She was obviously quite thrilled by the opportunity, and even talked to us for a while. Sounds like she’s doing well, and growing fast!

We enjoyed time as a family and with the family of God over the weekend. I was able to play keyboard in the service for the first time since we got back, and after the service there was a little party for those who have birthdays in October. Such as Shari! Always a good reason for more cake…

Ah! How special for you all! She does look adorable alright! And you four got to celebrate Shari’s birthday with cake in advance! Wow! Mind you, we Cottrills always do like to spread our celebrations out don’t we?
