It’s Just TOO EARLY!
In Canada, the Christmas season sales generally start after Halloween. I don’t like it, but I get it. But I saw this sign in Zellers on the 3rd of November. I’m sorry, that’s just silly.
(For the uninitiated, Boxing Day is the 26th of December)

Hmm! Boxing Day. Isn’t that when a lot of people shop for the following Christmas?
Not me, I’d go off the edge in those crowds.
The saddest thing about all this, in my opinion, is that while a good many folks prepare for the future in this life, so many avoid a relationship with God. It was He, after all, who initiated Christmas in the first place, by sending His Son to live among us and die to save us for now and for the eternal life to come.
This life passes so quickly and though there are wonderful blessings mixed in with the trials, I’m so looking forward to Heaven and the greatest celebration of all. And the best part? Seeing my Saviour face to face and worshipping Him with brothers and sisters in the family of God.
