The Captive Child

Inside the National Cathedral is this tiny chapel for the "Captive Child". The Captive Child is an "Child God" image representing Jesus as a young child. Many believe that each one has its special powers. This one can be invoked for physical or spiritual freedom, as well as for those who have been kidnapped and children who are otherwise victims. The image itself was stolen by pirates, then recovered 7 years later.
