Hello everyone! Just thought I’d take this brief moment to say hello one more time from Dallas, as we continue here at CAM Center with Candidate Orientation.<\/p>\n
So far, you’ll be glad to know, they haven’t told us to GO HOME, so that’s a good sign. Things seem to be going pretty well, and we’re meeting lots of new friends, getting together with some old friends and learning a lot. There are several people that we’ve been able to see that we met in Mexico 9 years ago, so that’s been really fun.<\/p>\n
Last week was a lot of interviews, but this week is more learning. Learning about CAM, learning generally about ministry, so that should be good. Of course I’m not really a good one for sitting on a chair in meetings, but as long as I’m learning something it’s worth it!<\/p>\n
We’d appreciate your continued prayers as we look ahead and continue to gather information. We’re hoping to get home and have a little more input from our church before we make too many decisions, but we need to try to ask the right questions in the mean time.<\/p>\n
We’ve been introduced to some great Texas eatin’, but a highlight was going to an authentic Mexican restaurant last week — WOW — Taco al pastor and a manzana to drink. Yum. Wish I could bring the food back to Calgary, but I don’t think it would survive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
