We would like to see her at least part time in a school or some activity in Mexico, but while we&#8217;re in transition we&#8217;ll be teaching her ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>This means we need to figure out what to teach her, how to teach it, and so on.  We&#8217;ve got some material now, but along with it we needed <strong>a whole bunch of children&#8217;s books that we didn&#8217;t have.<\/strong>  I know, we already have lots of great ones, but Hannah and Nathanael do love books.  Of course, we&#8217;re also getting rid of some books, so I spent a while going to used bookstores trading in.  I found one or two or a few we needed in every store, and a few bonuses, such as <em>Nathaniel Willy Scared Silly<\/em> (too bad they can&#8217;t spell Nathanael right!).<\/p>\n<p>By the way, if you&#8217;re in Calgary looking for used books, I recommend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairsfair.com\/\">Fair&#8217;s Fair<\/a> (any store) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pilgrimbooks.ca\/\">Pilgrim Books<\/a> (Christian books), though there are quite a few other good ones.<\/p>\n<p>Then we checked out the internet to find the cheapest place to get the rest.  Some we could get new, some we couldn&#8217;t.  This time the best overall deal was at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapters.indigo.ca\">chapters.indigo.ca<\/a>.  I often switch between that and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?link_code=ur2&#038;tag=jcotsweb-20&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;location=\/gp\/browse%3Fnode=4\">amazon.com<\/a>.  Amazon usually has the better price, and this time I got the ones I couldn&#8217;t get at indigo at amazon.  In fact, amazon also had some of the best prices for used books too.<\/p>\n<p>A great place to look for used books is <a href=\"http:\/\/used.addall.com\/\">AddALL<\/a>.  There are some other good used books searches, but I think this one is my favourite at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>There were some books that were rather obscure and I really had to look, but in the end we ordered all the books we need for the first year.  Praise the Lord!
