Instead of just picking the top posts, I&#8217;ve chosen the top posts from each quarter of the year, so that we can see a better representation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/lookback2014.jpg\" alt=\"Most popular posts of 2014!\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6809\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/lookback2014.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/lookback2014-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>So we start waaay back on the 1st of January 2014. One of the most popular posts of the year, and still applicable, was an infographic &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/7-reasons-to-pray-for-mexico.html\"><i>7 Reasons to Pray for Mexico<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The next two posts come from March, when we moved into the temporary sanctuary on the new property. We&#8217;re still meeting there, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/how-to-donate-to-the-ministry\/ixtapaluca-project\">raising funds<\/a> to continue building so that someday we can move into the permanent sanctuary. Read <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/the-new-building-and-how-we-got-there.html\"><b><i>The New Building and How We Got There<\/i><\/b><\/a> (one of the year&#8217;s top 3 posts) and <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/video-first-service-at-the-new-property.html\"><i>Video: First Service at the New Property<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Moving further into the year, we took a look at what was going on in Ixtapaluca soon before we left for Canada &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/a-look-at-the-next-couple-of-weeks.html\"><i>A look at the next couple of weeks&#8230;<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Next, some news from Camino Canada, <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/camino-global-canada-searching-for-a-new-director.html\"><i>Camino Global Canada: Searching for a New Director<\/i><\/a>. We don&#8217;t have a new director yet, by the way. Our current director will be continuing part time until the spring of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a couple from our trip to Canada &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/between-ontario-and-ontario.html\"><i>Between Ontario and Ontario<\/i><\/a> and for Canada Day <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/what-i-saw-in-ottawa-and-why-ive-been-thinking-about-it-ever-since.html\"><i>What I Saw in Ottawa (and why I&#8217;ve been thinking about it ever since)<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Returning from Canada, we went out of the frying pan and into the fire, prompting the post <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/is-being-a-missionary-an-extreme-sport.html\"><b><i>Is Being a Missionary an Extreme Sport?<\/i><\/b><\/a> (another of the year&#8217;s top 3).<\/p>\n<p>The challenge of having a partly-constructed building on the new property &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/church-property-robbed-again.html\"><b><i>Church Property Robbed \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Again.<\/i><\/b><\/a> The last of the year&#8217;s top 3.<\/p>\n<p>Another prayer request for fellow workers in Puebla, <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/a-november-prayer-request-video.html\"><i>A November Prayer Request (video)<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Next, exciting news as we work to reach out into a new community &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/new-community-centre.html\"><i>New Community Centre<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And finally, a very appropriate look back at our team&#8217;s year in a video&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2014\/help-were-stuck-in-a-video.html\"><i>Help!
