To the right you can see Lee playing Spiderman, trying to do the impossible and seal some leaks on from on top of the roof.<\/p>\n<p>Below you can see Lee, Kyle, Carter and Nathanael pulling some weeds to make the front of the community centre look a little more presentable.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/pulling-weeds.jpg\" alt=\"Pulling weeds\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/pulling-weeds.jpg 480w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/pulling-weeds-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/pulling-weeds-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/>At the same time, the women were baking up a storm. They also had a devotional time. Boy, those cinnamon rolls smelled gooood! \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baking-cinnamon-rolls.jpg\" alt=\"Baking Cinnamon Rolls\" width=\"480\" height=\"321\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7527\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baking-cinnamon-rolls.jpg 480w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baking-cinnamon-rolls-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/>That evening we enjoyed a prayer meeting with some church people in Jes\u00c3\u00bas Mar\u00c3\u00ada.<\/p>\n<p>The next day we went to the senior&#8217;s shelter, where the Brubacher family gave a concert and shared the Gospel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniorsshelter-concert.jpg\" alt=\"Concert at the Senior&#039;s Shelter\" width=\"480\" height=\"161\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7528\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniorsshelter-concert.jpg 480w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniorsshelter-concert-300x101.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/>Then we did a craft (which was a decoration with a combination Mexican\/Canadian Flag), and with the help of some women from the church served lunch for everyone. There aren&#8217;t enough tables at the shelter, so some benches were used to set the plates on.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniors-lunch.jpg\" alt=\"Lunch at the Senior&#039;s Shelter\" width=\"480\" height=\"308\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniors-lunch.jpg 480w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/seniors-lunch-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/>It was a long day for the Brubachers &#8211; we did another English class after that, went out for wings (LOTS of wings), and then went to the airport, where they hopped on a red-eye flight.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks again, Brubachers, for having a part in the ministry here!
