Grind . . . *clunk* —! — jjjjjssshhhhh ! What is that? :O Well, I hope we’ll know soon. It seems to be coming from the front of the car somewhere. I’m not going to drive it like that. So, for the second time in two weeks I met a friendly tow truck driver who was happy to take my car for me. Of course, this is Saturday, and we have no appointment. So it likely won’t be until the middle of next week sometime that the mechanic will be able to look at it. So here we are again – stranded!<\/p>\n

Anyway, there’s always good news. The good news is that we made it to (though we had to get a ride from<\/i>) our nephew Jevon’s birthday party. So in spite of the broken down Phoenix, we had some excellent (and wonderfully decorated, I might add) birthday cake, some play time with a bunch of toddlers, and a chance to see some cool toys. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

We’re looking to the Lord again as we wonder what the next few weeks will hold. I’m sorry I don’t have more good news to report! Hopefully we’ll have more soon. I keep hesitating to write, hoping that if I wait another day I’ll have more good news! However, we are happy that for once we’re all healthy at the same time, and we’re starting to get somewhat recovered from all our events at the end of March. (and after all, if you have your health…!) The weather is beautiful here – was up around 27C (80F) earlier this week, so who can complain.
