But we&#8217;ve also made new friends over the years.  Take for example our friends in <a href=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/2003\/mexico-banff-and-tennessee.html\">Tennessee<\/a>.  Recently I was able to chat a bit with someone from South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Back in April we met Marissa.  Marissa is from California, and was doing a school project on a missionary, and we were the missionary!  \ud83d\ude09  She was an asset to us because not only did she send us encouragement, she also prayed for us.  Thanks, Marissa!  Her project is finished now, and she got 96%.  I think that has a lot more to do with her academic ability than our excellent missionary skills!  \ud83d\ude00  (But I hope God will give us the strength to serve Him so that we can hear <i>His<\/i> well done someday.)<\/p>\n<p>God sends people from unexpected places to have a part in this ministry.
