They were here for the Children&#8217;s Day weekend at the end of April. They put on events at all three churches, presenting the gospel and connecting us with new people in our communities.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_9112\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9112\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/marionettes.jpg\" alt=\"The Great Escape\" width=\"450\" height=\"517\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/marionettes.jpg 450w, https:\/\/cottrillcompass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/marionettes-261x300.jpg 261w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9112\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A moment from &#8220;The Great Escape&#8221; with the Word of Life team<\/figcaption><\/figure>Between the team and those here, we had some great conversations with people and several people made confessions of faith. Please continue to pray for those who heard God&#8217;s Word through these events.<\/p>\n<p>The team also participated in our morning service, teaching Sunday school and sharing from God&#8217;s Word in the service.<\/p>\n<p>We had more visitors last weekend, from a church in California, who came to see what all the excitement is about here. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>We have a busy weekend coming up, where all four of us will be serving during the morning service &#8211; fun fun fun!
