Whirlwind

Yes, I’m still in Mexico! We just got back from an orphanage, where we spent some time with the kids (there were about 80 there) and did a program.

A man from BC (Canada) who works there gave us a tour, and there was a team from Chatham (Ontario, Canada) that were working on one of the buildings. So there has been a lot of Canadian influence here! I even talked to a man from Samaritans Purse that was from Calgary.

The children were great and we had a good time there, although we wish it could have been longer.

There’s lots more to be said, but I should leave some things to the imagination so I can give you a full report in August. We’re continuing our English Classes in the evenings (8:30pm-10:30pm). We’re getting both children and adults, and everyone really is having a lot of fun, learning a little English and a little about God.

The team is generally doing very well, though some are pretty tired. So keep praying for health, and energy, and that we’ll know how to prepare for the programs that are still coming up.

You’re probably wondering about my luggage! Well, it was given to a taxi driver to deliver. Unfortunatly, when the taxi arrived, we were gone, so he was going to take it back to Mexico City (3 hours away). But you’ll be glad to hear that the neighbors were gracious enough to take it, so it didn’t have to travel any more! So I did get it on Tuesday night. Praise the Lord!

I’m here at Smith’s house, and I think it’s time to have a little supper. Thanks for your prayers, and I’ll talk to you later!
