Aquarium! (video)
Last month we went to Acuario Inbursa in Mexico City. Shari finally convinced me to put together a quick video of some of the amazing creatures we saw. Nathanael took most of the video.

When we moved to Mexico, Facebook had just opened its doors to everyone. Still, it wasn’t a big thing in Mexico until quite a while later.
But today, when a short term missionary comes to Mexico, they connect with new friends on Facebook and their friendships and ministry can continue even when they leave. Facebook even allows users to translate posts easily, so that today whether we post in English or Spanish people from all over the world can read what we say.
This rapid change in communication is continuing. Check out this remarkable video from Skype, as a student in Mexico City speaks with a student in Seattle – each in their own language.
Technology like this continues to change the way we think of both short term and long term missions. May we use the means God has given us to carry the Gospel around the world, and disciple the many people who are moving from everywhere in the world to everywhere in the world!
By the way, you can register to be among the first to use this new technology here.
Over Christmas Hannah and Nathanael put together a puppet show, with home made puppets and everything!
They performed it twice, and we had our wits about us the second time and recorded it. Here it is, for your edification…
In fact, our whole team is in it! Jessica Nixon, who is here helping us for a year, put her considerable talents to work to make this video of our Camino team’s ministry! So here it is . . .
So – the mega culto went very well on Sunday! We estimate there were somewhere around 415 in attendance. The theme was “Unity”, and is was wonderful to worship and study and learn and pray together.
Just making this happen was a wonderful show of unity – making sure that there was sound, chairs, shelter, food (and we had waaaaaay more than enough of that!), functioning bathrooms, child care, and so on and so on and so on.
We talked and prayed about how we can reach more people with the love of the Lord, and demonstrate that love to one another.
Anyway, if you would like to see some clips of what went on, check out the video below. I also uploaded a few pictures into our Photo Gallery – check those out here.
Just stopping by via this video to share a special prayer request. Thanks!
