On upcoming birthdays and trips!
It’s been a while since I’ve written, so I thought I’d just drop by and say “hello”! Hannah’s just sitting here eating supper and Shari is finishing up the dishes (which is very nice of her).
I have to admit it’s been a rough week or two, and we’re a little overwhelmed by all that we need to do! I’ve had some nasty headaches, the worst being on Sunday right in the middle of a presentation at our church. Fortunately, it was only an 8 minute presentation, so I didn’t have to stand up for too long! 🙂
The good news is that we’ve been able to spend some good time with friends who have been a great encouragement! People at our church were very encouraging as well. Thanks everyone!
In only 2 days Hannah will be 2! So the cards have been pouring in. All the mail is for Hannah now adays. *sniff* Tomorrow is Hannah’s Aunt Amy’s birthday. Amy is more than 2, which is helpful to anyone who is studying nursing.
Next week we’re off east for our Central Saskatchewan Tour. We have several meetings and services that we’re planning to be involved in. Shari will be doing a Children’s Ministry Seminar or two. But the majority of our ministry there will likely be with individuals. Primarily we’ll be in Prince Albert, Buffalo Narrows, Saskatoon, and Turtleford. The rest we’re still working on, but there may be 4-6 additional towns on the itinerary.
We would especially appreciate your prayers over the next few weeks. We’re all really tired and having trouble getting the rest we need, AND of course having trouble getting everything done we need to do! A vicious combination.
Tonight we actually have an evening free, which is quite unusual! So we’re going to try to have a bit of a break. Meanwhile, I’d better get back to work!
