Merry Christmas!
I heard a lot of people saying “Merry Christmas” this year. How about you? Both customers, friends, and sales clerks seem to be using the term freely this year. And why not? It’s a free country.
Of course, you likely heard the story about the school district that apparently discouraged students from any Christmas-related celebration at school, including bringing red and green serviettes (napkins) to the school’s “winter party”. Can you ban a colour? Is that possible? Well, four families were didn’t think you could, and filed a lawsuit. The incident is being “investigated”. Here’s a good explanation of the situation.
So, what do you think about that? Have you heard anyone say “Merry Christmas” this year? Were you offended? Did anyone look at you funny when you said “Merry Christmas” to them?
