No guts, no glory
It’s been quite a day! Late this morning, I had pretty much decided that we would have to dismantle our desktop computer and start from scratch. But with a lot of hard work, I do believe I have the majority of it working. Can you believe it? Well, yes, I’m skeptical too. I admit it. But we’re doing better right now than we have been doing for a week!
To the left there you see the perspective of last week, when I was reassembling our computer on the living room floor. At that point, I didn’t know that I had a defective motherboard. Anyway, all the computer guts are back inside. You know what they say, no guts, no glory!
I would certainly appreciate your prayers as I continue to prepare to speak on Sunday. I also need to finish my Seminary course over the next week or so, along with about 20 other urgent things! It’s one of those times when everything has kind of merged into a major crunch time. But I did want to let you know the rest of the story (I hope) with the computer – I’m sure you wanted closure as much as I did! It’s good to know that God is really does love us, even when our lives seem to be in chaos. He really does have things under control! 🙂
