A day off with the rattlers…
We’re continuing our catch-up about events from the past few days. Last week we took a few days off as a family, and one day we went to the Mexico City zoo. We haven’t been in a long time.
It was insanely busy, but eventually we got to see a few animals.
The zoo is a great place to praise God for His amazing creations. I took a few pictures (which are in our photo gallery), and you can see about a minute of video below (for some reason it has no sound – but that’s ok. These animals were pretty quiet. It was the people who were noisy!).
One of the most interesting things we saw was an exhibit with mostly venomous and non-venomous snakes (and some frogs and lizards etc). Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take pictures or video in there. Quite the creatures though.
We saw a LOT of different varieties of rattlesnake, and discovered that we live in prime rattlesnake territory. Which makes us feel really good, and I’m sure it makes you feel good too.

Enjoyed the video, but would not like the reptiles. Rattle snake territory? Not for me!
