Ministry, Practical Matters, and Great News
We’ve been continuing our travels, with the privilege of talking with people face-to-face about what God is doing in Mexico. It has also been great to hear what God has been doing in the rest of North America.
We’ve also had some time to visit with family, and do about a gazillion errands – school-related stuff, doctors’ appointments (galore), and getting the van checked out and fixed up.
By the highway |
Of course, no matter how good we take care of the van … well, let’s just say it finally said “enough is enough”. And God graciously allowed it to break down – right in front of our friends’ house, after a long day of travel.
And they’ve been gracious as well – putting us up extra nights while the mechanics work feverishly to do the repairs.
Lord willing it will be running again in a day or two, and we’ll be able to continue our visits.
Actually, after many weeks of errands and ministry we’re looking forward to a week off to (hopefully) recharge physically and spiritually – next week.
And then – after visiting a few more people – and driving a few more thousand kilometres – we’ll be back home in Mexico (Lord willing)!
I just got some great news from Mexico, by the way! 5 people were baptized from the church in Jesús MarÃa last Sunday! Praise the Lord! We’re so thankful – many, many, many, many, many prayers went up for these new believers. You can read more here.
Thanks for your prayers for them – and for us! – as God continues to work.
