Pray for Margarita
If you get our newsletter, you may remember Margarita. In July my friend Matt and I stayed with her family for about a week. At the end of the week, we saw her baptized.
Margarita is a recent widow, and a new believer. She and her three teen aged children live in a house in Querétaro. When her husband died, she got insurance that, as far as she knew, covered the payments on the house. She wanted to get some of the paperwork cleared up, and all of a sudden she ran into all kinds of resistance. She’s being told that she owes all kinds of back payments, and so on.
Please pray for Margarita and her family. There’s a real possibility that she could lose the house. She has a lawyer now, who is helping her sort through everything.
In the photo on the right you see two of Margarita’s daughters, MariCarmen and Mariana, Matt, Margarita and myself. This was taken in front of their home.
