The glory of the Heavens
The Hubble telescope is 15 years old. It was placed into earth orbit on the 25th of April, 2005, and since then it’s taken 700,000 amazing snapshots of the universe. It’s amazing to see the things that God placed in the heavens that we have still only had a glimpse of. The picture to the right, taken by Hubble (thanks to NASA, ESA, HEIC, and The Hubble Heritage Team (STScI/AURA)) is of a dying star. The gas and dust around it have created this masterpiece.
If you want to be reminded of the majesty of the Creator, take a look at some of these images. You can see some of the images released on its 15th anniversary here. I will praise you, Lord, for everyone to hear, and I will sing hymns to you in every nation. Your love reaches higher than the heavens; your loyalty extends beyond the clouds. May you, my God, be honored above the heavens; may your glory be seen everywhere on earth.
(Psa 57:9-11)
