Here in Dallas
Just after 6pm yesterday we arrived at CAM Center, the headquarters for CAM International. We had a very good trip down. We were able to reconnect with some good friends we haven’t seen for a while, in Montana, Nebraska and Kansas. Thanks, everyone, for letting us visit!
For the next few days we’ll be staying in a small apartment here at CAM Center. We’ve got quite a few meetings scheduled, and there are various things we still need to work on before we cross the border. There are people we need to touch base with, we need to make sure we have paperwork and insurance to go into Mexico, we need to make further plans for the trip… and the list goes on.
But it’s not all work. Friends at the mission were generous enough to give us some time at the Dallas Arboretum, where we checked out some of the cool tree houses and flowers and trees and a pioneer village. It was good to have a little family time – a great place to go if you’re ever in the area.
I’ve uploaded a few photos of our last days in Canada, our trip down, and our visit to the arboretum today (especially good for kid-o-holics). Now I’ve got to go and get a couple of kids to bed – talk to you later!
