Tired Burros
If ever I would be tempted, once in a while, to forget I was in Mexico, something would come along to remind me.
Yesterday I was getting gas in the city, and two carts drawn by burros (donkeys – you knew that, right?) pulled into the gas station. They were filling up the air in their tires, apparently. Not that strange a site here, but I snapped the photo below with my camera phone for all you people outside of Mexico. You can just barely see both of them, to the left.

Well in India too its quite common to see a whole menagerie on the streets.

You are so right Jim, there are times when life feels ‘normal’ here and then you have those little things that you would NEVER see at home to drag you into reality again. I love it when I see those lorries with no cab driving round and the drivers are sitting on a box with flying goggles on. Feeling better, but still no energy. Andrew

I doubt we have the “menagerie” here in the city that you have in India. Although Shari had to wait for a herd for a herd of sheep and goats the other day when she was picking up Hannah from school! 😉
Yes, Andrew – sitting on the box, and so often with a mattress on top. I’ll bet it’s comfortable, anyway!
Glad you’re starting to feel better.
