Jim, as I hear this news my heart aches and rejoices. My dad was promoted to heaven in 2014, and the inward agony for me was deep. It still hurts. There is something so deep about a man’s relationship with his dad… And besides, God did not originally intend us to die. There is something so deeply wrenching about it. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. It rips deep. And yet, the Hope is amazing! To know they are already in glory, in the presence of our King, and that we will be with them again. What comfort. May the tears flow well, Jim, when the waves of grief come, and may the hope and joy run deeper as you experience new dimensions of hope, grace and peace. And may He use you with your mom and the rest of the family.

    We are praying,

    Douglas
