Yes…pray! Asking the Holy Spirit to enlarge our beings to recognize even micro steps of progress…even when things seem dire…and enable us to therein rejoice.

Reading the Prophet Jeremiah has quickened my attention to the need to be patient and steadfast. Baruch’s hand inscribed message of Jeremiah to the rebellious Jewish King was sliced into strips and burned in dramatic fashion. Then Jeremiah had Baruch start all over again…with added information! Dire indeed, but not out of God’s watchful eye and Sovereign care. His message would not be thwarted despite human uncertainty…and even rebellion.

    Be encouraged!

We are still only in phase one here to n El Salvador and churches are in phase 3 which supposedly starts in August. Everything we do now is online through YouTube or zoom. It is sad to me that the (church)is seen as non essential but for the most part we have been asleep and comfortable too long. Hopefully when we are allowed to physically be together we work on changing that and work once again being an essential part if the communities we are in. I think it will be the last chance we will be given before the return of our Lord! Let’s pray that we can become the bride He is waiting for!

Interesting to see how a difference in culture can lead to differences in decision-making, at this time concerning a terrible, easily spread global virus. For me it’s contrasting Mexican culture with Canadian.

Thank you for keeping us posted. And for reminding us of God’s part in all of this. May He use His great power to get those numbers way down!
