Where did the Bible come from? (again)
- Who decided which books should be a part of the Bible?
- Why are there so many different Bibles?
- What did the people of God do before the Bible existed?
- Why are some Bibles bigger than others?
- Why aren’t there more books in the Bible? Could another book be added today?
- Do we really have the same books that were written thousands of years ago? Aren’t they just copies of copies?
I’m excited to be teaching the 7 part series “Where did the Bible come from?” again – this time at the church in Santa Barbara. I’ll be starting tonight, and presenting one part every other week.
I would appreciate your prayers tonight as we talk about the resurrection, and hear wisdom and “wisdom” (so-called) from – well, everyone from early historians to apostles to a modern enlightenment guru!

I’m glad you had “buen estudio esta noche, y buenas discusiones”. (Just read your tweet.) I could certainly use a refresher course on these things. This is related to apologetics I would think.

Maybe sometime we could do it at your church. We did one of the lessons some places last time we were in Canada, but it would be fun to do a whole week sometime. 🙂

Jim, let’s keep that idea in mind. It would be great if we could get people coming who are not connected with our little flock.
