Posts of 2019
This is a great time to look back at the most popular posts from the entire year. And what a year it has been!
And since it’s cool right now to talk about the past decade, I’ll do that in the next post. 🙂
We’ll start with the month of March – an important time in the life of our church in Las Palmas! First of all, we finally moved the location of our Sunday morning services, and then – baptisms – in All About Water and Baptisms 2019 (video).
And then things got crazy busy – we looked forward to it in the post Manic May 2019, but popular posts actually in May were Nathanael’s 15th, Biblical Counselling Seminar, etc., and as we headed into June, Please Pray For: “The Wedding”.
At midsummer, it was appropriate to take A Look Backward and Forward. I had some time in Canada in the past, and some ministry in Mexico in the future. And that included teams – check out Baking Classes / Construction.
And in July – more Tiempo de Vivir Events (video). I really need to post more videos.
But as far as “popular posts” go, it was my Dad’s passing (end of August) and funeral (September) that dominated 2019. So these posts included the initial announcement, the funeral video and related information, and the eulogy.
And then I returned to Mexico.
And into the last part of the year, common themes in our church were Grief, Uncertainty, and Peace.
And for popular posts, the year ended on a lighter note – sort of – The Mysterious Exploding Toilet!
By the way, a note on where visitors to this blog came from this year. First, the usual suspects – the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
But next – the UK and India. Hi to everyone from the UK and India! 🙂
But here’s the surprise – the city most represented was Ashburn, VA, USA. So – hi everyone from Ashburn! Drop a line and say hi sometime!
