Most Popular Posts – 2022!
Every year at this time I like to look back to find the most-read posts of the year. Partly because, for us, it’s another way to look back over the past 12 months.
So here we go again! I’ll post the top ten, in chronological order…
- God’s Warmth in Chilly January – A picture and some news (January).
- Retro: Spiritual Emphasis Camp (video) – Technically, the “retro” posts are from 10 years earlier – so here’s a memory from February 2012.
- Retro: Pies – One more, this one from April 2012.
- Manic May v. 2022 – This year’s version of manic May. May is, quite simply, always crazy. (May)
- A Visit to Panama (and a sloth video) – Let’s face it. Who doesn’t like to watch sloths? (June)
- Going to Ontario (really) (we hope) – We did indeed! (June)
- 20 Years of Finding Direction! – Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of this very blog. (October)
- Turbulent Times – yes, it was a turbulent fall, no doubt. Here are some reasons why. (November)
- Edgar – A tribute to our friend Edgar, who passed away in November.
- Baptisms December 2022 (video) – A great way to end the list!
While I’m here, let’s take a look at the 10 posts from past years which have continued to be popular in 2022…
- Spanish Bible Versions – Free Online – Everybody likes free stuff, I guess…
- Just how Stressed are Missionaries (and what can we do about it)? – This was a classic, from 2012.
- The Greatest Christmas Song II (index/resources) – Rather than individual posts, I’ll just include the index. Christmas carol series have been quite popular.
- Law vs. Love? – An “unhitching” that really shouldn’t take place…
- Amy and Nate are engaged! – I think other people are more popular on this blog that we are, which is probably a good thing! This is from 2008.
- 7 Reasons to Pray for Mexico – From 2014, but still a mostly accurate guide.
- Holy Week Traditions in Mexico – Some observations from early in our years in Mexico.
- Life is just a bowl of JELLO – Just a quirky story of a day in the life…
- Johnny Appleseed – the missionary? – Yes, except of a different god and a different gospel.
- How To Take A Shower (at our house) – You gotta have fun with it sometimes! It ain’t fiction.
Thanks again for stopping by! See you in 2023, Lord willing.
