This Form and That Form
First of all, I would like to thank all of you who helped, prayed (don’t stop now!) and sent condolences after the death of my Father in August. My family is very thankful to you, and thankful to the Lord who truly “comforts the downcast” (2 Corinthians 7:6).
I am not only thankful for many things here in Canada, but also for my brothers and sisters in Christ in Mexico who have done so much in my absence. Lots to be thankful for!
I am still in Canada, and for those asking (and maybe trying to get rid of me!), no, I don’t know yet when I’ll be back in Mexico. As many of you may know from experience, my Mom and I are very busy here with – well – form after form after form, among other things!
At times like this, there is an incredible amount of red tape, and organizing that needs to be done, and decisions that need to be made. Even in my situation – my Dad was very organized, and my Mom is very helpful – but there is still only so much you can do in a day.
Right now we’re really just past the funeral (which was on Friday), and just diving into some of the things that need to be done. So we would all appreciate your prayers – for Shari and Nathanael as they try to get things done in Mexico one person short (not including Hannah, who we’re all missing after spending the summer with her!), for my Mom, and for myself.
So that might not be much of an update, but maybe it will give you something to pray for.
