The Last Sunday in a Rented Room?
Well, Lord willing, this was it. The last Sunday service in the ol’ Zumba studio, where we’ve met since May 2011.
We’ve been renting this place to get a little extra room while we looked for new property, purchased it, and started building.
But thanks to the hard work of a lot of people yesterday, we’re almost ready to meet on the new property.
Just a little more to do, and we can move into the temporary sanctuary – and stop renting!
We had a really good service today. We celebrated with a woman who had just accepted the Lord this past week. We saw some people we hadn’t seen for a while, heard some answers to prayer, and cried out to God for some serious needs people have.
We thanked God for a family that has been brought together by the Lord. We sang about the majesty of the Lord Jesus.
Ismael gave a timely message about faith, the need to trust in Christ for salvation, and the need to follow Him in faith.
Above you can see the worship team practising. The picture was taken at 10:10am – ten minutes after the service is supposed to start. But we’re working on being more punctual. Really.
And so – one week more —- !!
