A Few Popular Posts
It’s interesting for me to see what posts have been most popular here at Finding direction over the past year. And maybe it’s a good excuse for you to find something interesting too!
In a couple of days I’ll post the most popular posts of 2020. However, these are posts that were popular in 2020, but they are from past years. Since I’ve done this every year in recent years, you’ll see some that are the same as past years, but there are some changes.
Here they are in reverse order, the most popular last . . .
- Law vs. Love? – So, back in the Old Testament they had laws, but then Jesus came along and gave us love, right? Not so fast…
- The story of William Borden continues to be popular – check out The Millionaire Missionary and “Nothing for Mama?”: William Borden (part 2)
- Curtains! – For some weird reason, this post about our move to Ixtapaluca is popular.
- Camino Global, Avant – What has changed, what has not… – this post from 2018 is now in some ways out of date, but it talked about the joining of Camino Global and Avant, and what that meant.
- Johnny Appleseed – the missionary? – Ah yes, this little exploration of the history of Johnny Appleseed (John Chapman) is probably not what you think.
- 7 Reasons to Pray for Mexico – although almost 7 years old now, this post/infographic is still pretty accurate.
- 10 minute devotions . . . – Just a few thoughts about “daily devotions”.
- Last year’s series about the other Greatest Christmas song continues to be popular – The Greatest Christmas Song II
- Just how Stressed are Missionaries (and what can we do about it)? – This is a classic that is always popular. I hope that you’re helping your missionaries, and that these ideas are useful!
- Spanish Bible Versions – Free Online – So we end with a practical one. This was the most popular pre-2020 post in 2020. I think a lot of visitors were disappointed because there were a lot of broken links, but I think most of them are fixed now! 🙂
